2:45 PM - 4:00 PM    Futsal After School Program, Spring 2019 - Futsal
This program's aim is to increase the player's personal skills to the next level. Using Futsal (Futbol de Salao - Soccer in a Room) at a platform for high speed, high volume ball touches and maneuvering in tight spaces. A typical Futsal game allows the player to touch the ball up to 600% more than traditional soccer, thereby increasing the player's decision making skills and comfort with the ball. A Futsal ball is much smaller and heavier, which allows the player to easily command the ball and in return, increase confidence that seamlessly transforms to a soccer game. This process produces skillful players.WHEN:   Thursdays, March 14 - May 8 (8 weeks) (no class April 18)WHO:      Children in grades 2-3WHERE: Stony Hill SchoolTIME:      2:45 - 4PMCOST:     $100 per student ($10 late fee after 3/10, $20 late fee after 3/22)REGISTRATION: Online February 12 - March 10 / In-office February 12 - March 8Bring Water, Active Wear, Shin Guards, Sneakers or Futsal Shoes (NO CLEATS) and Futsal Ball size 2 or 3, or Purchase an Official Futsal and Street Soccer Ball for only $20
